Last Saturday, we teamed up with Mashable to throw a shindig celebrating Social Media Day at Milk Studios. Social Media Day was started in 2010 by Mashable as a holiday to celebrate the impact of social media on our lives. This year, there was dancing, free beer from Budweiser, and an endless stream of videos like "Charlie Bit My Finger." Why? Because Social Media Day celebrates the impact of social ingenuity in our lives and in our world, and what's caused a bigger impact than a video of a tiny British boy getting his finger chewed?

Fashion tech kids bumped shoulders with members of New York's digital community on the dance floor as Gavin Russon and DJ E-603 played DJ sets. The party wound down at 1 AM, and everyone headed home to Facebook, Instagram, and Tweet about their night. Someone might have even posted about it on MySpace, but we haven't had a chance to set up our new profile yet.

Flip through for some of our photos from the night.

Special thanks to: The Home Depot, Budweiser, Swoon, GIT-IT, and Namecheap, who helped make the event possible.
