Passion Pit - "Constant Conversations" (Little Daylight Remix)

Passion Pit's second album, Gossamer, did the indie equivalent of splitting the atom, aka actually improving upon your first album and expanding your sound in ways that not only make sense, but are awesome. Gossamer was all full-bodied sunniness, a blue-eyed soul album for a generation raised with little to no understanding of what "blue-eyed soul" actually means.

While it was pretty radical, Gossamer was a summer album through and through, and with the passing of the seasons we've found ourselves spinning it a bit less. Thankfully, Little Daylight's got us with a remix of choice cut "Constant Conversations," speeding the original vocal up and placing lead singer Michael Angelakos in the middle of a sonic jungle, filling in the negative space with some crunchy synths to take us home. Good job and four gold stars to all involved parties.
