Later this afternoon, VICE's Charlet Duboc will be appearing live on CNN to talk about her film Fashion Week Internationale: Fashion Week Islamabad.
If you haven't seen it yet, you should. The film charts the progress of Islamabad's first ever fashion week—watch as Charlet fends off the advances of Pakistan's only rapper, watches the King of Pakistani style shout at terrified models, and finds out how catwalks and fashion fabulosity, not guns or drones, will bring peace to a country that doubles as the Taliban's back garden.
Oh yeah, re: that last point—it's probably one of the only fashion weeks on the planet that a gang of terrorists keeps threatening to blow up. So that certainly adds a frisson of tension to the proceedings.
She'll be live on CNN at 5.50PM—watch the film in the player above or here, at VICE.com's Fashion Week Internationale series channel. You can also follow the team behind Fashion Week Internationale on Twitter, @FashionWeekInt.
