Photographic Moratorium - Looking Sad in the Tub

This week, our blog of things you should stop doing with your camera is dedicated to the bathtub self-portrait. You are not a modern day Ophelia. Maybe you could pass as your favorite film character from the 1990s (Susanna Kaysen from Girl Interrupted, shaving scene) but only in the sense that, like Winona Ryder, you come across as talentless and mentally unstable. And that is not something anyone should be aiming for. So dismantle the precariously constructed tripod, take your camera away from the dangers of water damage and stop it, please.
