Ray-Ban and Boiler Room teamed up at this year’s SXSW to bring the popular Boiler Room brand of live-streaming basement DJ sets to the big stage. Labeled as one this year’s most anticipated SXSW showcases, it lived up to the hype in every way possible. Lines stretched around the block to see dudes like Baauer (currently Billboard’s number-one artist, by the way) and the elusive Death Grips, who picked the event as their only SXSW performance. In true Boiler Room fashion, these events weren’t exclusive to the lucky people in Austin, but were streamed live and for free via boilerroom.tv. We’re lucky enough to have some exclusive photos of all the madness that ensued.
