A Skateboard I Painted Is in This Art Show

I'm in this art show that opens tonight at Coat of Arms in the Lower East Side called "Open Casket." It's put on by a young skate company called Corpse Corps, and it's made up of a bunch of coffin-shaped decks that different people painted on. It's not a huge space, but they're planning on having a costumed high ollie contest at 11 PM.

I can't speak for the quality of most of the artists in the show, but I got to curate in some of my friends. The super handsome/talented Anthony Cudahy, the shy/talented Kris Mukai, her identical twin sister Kat Mukai, my friend Charly Himmel, my mentor Lamour Supreme, and my boss Greg Mishka are all in it. And I'm in it, too.

Greg and Lamour are lazy guys, so I brought them their boards and they painted them in like an hour and gave them back to me. Here are three decks next to each other. We all work for Mishka so we all did Mishka's bear logo on the top of the boards.

That's Lamour on the far left, me in the middle, and Greg on the right.

And here are the backs with our custom Mishka bears.
