Alexandre Herchcovitch is a Creator

Alexandre Herchcovitch Autumn/Winter 2010

Alexandre Herchcovitch is just about the biggest name in Brazilian fashion that doesn't make flip flops or swimwear. In a lot of ways Herchcovitch's hometown, Sao Paulo, is the future of our globalized world. It's one of the world's biggest cities--more than twenty million people live there, with one of the fiercest divides between rich and poor in the world. Being from the future is a pretty nifty advantage for a fashion designer and Herchcovitch reckons living in Sao Paulo means he designs clothes for the whole world, because the whole world is on his doorstep. We made a film with him for The Creators Project we're working on with the brainy guys at Intel. You can watch it here.
