In China, they not only have lots of people, they also have lots of rodents as well. Following a flooding of the Yangtze river, raising the water level in Dongting Lake and submerging mouse holes on islands in the lake, two billion homeless mice have invaded central China's Hunan province. The result of this is lots and lots of mice eating crops in fields around the lake, and lots and lots of farmers running around trying to kill them. Over the last three weeks, 2.25 million mice have been killed, but the place is still swamped with rodents. Maybe they should send in the dog death squads (who battered 50,000 dogs to death last year) to help out.
