Allow CS + Kreme's Ambient Pop Calm You Like an Essential Oil

Listen to the Melbourne duo's new track that is available soon on Dutch label Wichelroede.

The Latin name of lavender is Lavare, which means "to wash", due to its particularly pleasant aroma. While other benefits include digestion, urine flow and it's effectiveness as a bug repellant, it's the calming properties of the flowering plant that are found on the 'Ultra Lavender' mix of CS + Kreme's "Roast Ghost".

The Melbourne duo of Conrad Standish (Standish/Carlyon) and Sam Karmel (F fingers) team up again for some lush ambient pop that washes over you like essential oils in a 60-minute full body massage.

Taken from a forthcoming split cassette on Dutch label Wichelroede, that will include a B-side from Vancouver-via-Kaifeng resident Yu Su, the track flows with lush synth, hushed vocals and easy going percussion. This is new age music for Smith Street.

The CS + Kreme and Yu Su split will be available in May on Wichelroede
