Whistle Back’s “Stick to the Lie” Remix is like Winter Air on the Dancefloor

Whistle Back's remix of Karin Park's "Stick to the Lie" is like reliving some Scandinavian memory. It recalls a time when mellow house anthems like Adrian Lux's "Teenage Crime" and Rebecca and Fiona's "Turn It Down" were the main attraction in DJ sets worldwide. Although Whistle Back might be German, his remix of the Djura, Sweden-born Park's poppy tune stays truthful to her cultural roots.

"I had a lot of fun working on this remix, especially because it is a different genre in comparison to the music I normally produce," mentions the typically deep house-heavy Whistle Back. "I loved experimenting with Karin's special voice and these awesome synths."

An exploration of gentle harmonics, with subtle piano chords that effortlessly compliment Whistle Back's hypnotic club beats, the remix invites listeners to get lost in a house-infused lullaby. "It was a great opportunity and I am very happy with the outcome," he shares.
