Manchester United Hammer In Two Goals Against Leicester in Just One Minute and Change

Seems like we'll have to wait a hundred years or so to get another miracle run from Leicester.

This isn't your Leicester City of last year. The mercurial nature of the Premier League is such that last year's champions Leicester are now just one point away from the bottom three. And though Manchester United still be hovering at 6th—just where they closed out last year—at least they're beating Leicester regularly. And efficiently.

Manchester United came in at the end of the first half with guns blazing, as they hammered in two goals within the span of 1 minute and 28 seconds.

The first, above, came as Henrikh Mkhitaryan gutted Leicester's defense with a nifty first touch that sent the ball far ahead of the pack. He capitalized on his speed with a few swift pokes that gave him a sharp angle on the keeper and sent the ball skipping over a deflection. Oof.

Then this happened, with barely any time for broadcasters to show the highlights:

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, who is in a tight race for Golden Boot this year, tapped in a lovely cross with balletic grace—just before extra time was allotted.

And with a third Manchester United goal getting tucked in in just after halftime, things are looking grave for the defending champs. Seems like we'll have to wait a hundred years or so to get another miracle title run from Leicester.
