The premise of King of the Road is a simple one. Thrasher and VICELAND get three skate teams to go on a road trip and complete a checklist of challenges, including but not limited to: trying to get Danzig into the team van; shaving off one eyebrow; and stuffing a whole pack of cigarettes in your mouth, lighting them and taking a drag while doing a pivot to fakie. It's great, and if you have good taste in television then you should have already watched it.The second season – featuring the Creature, enjoi and Deathwish teams – premieres on VICELAND UK, Sky channel 153, this June. To celebrate we're having a party at the House of Vans London. Everything kicks off at 5PM with a demo featuring some yet-to-be-announced skaters flying in for the occasion, and an exhibition of behind-the-scene photos from the tour.Then, at 9PM, we'll get the free booze out, courtesy of Whiskey Thief; premiere King of the Road season two in the House of Vans cinema room; continue the skate demo and have DJs Benton, Aletha Vandross and Southern Hospitality on the main stage.It's on Friday the 2nd of June and it's completely free.
