Two Chicago police officers are in hot water after a photo surfaced online of them "taking the knee" with raised fists on Sunday, the same day NFL players, coaches, and owners showed support for free speech by bending down on one knee before football games.The Chicago Police Department wrote in a statement to VICE News that they were aware of the photo, which was posted Monday by activist Aleta Clark, 28, who goes by "EnglewoodBarbie" on Instagram.
"We will address it in the same way we have handled previous incidents in which officers have made political statements in uniform, with a reprimand and a reminder of department policies," the statement read.
