We know it can be a chore to come up with new and innovative ways of staging protests tailored to specific issues, but there's a difference between falling back on old methods and being lazy to the point of self-defeat. Evidently, some of the regional governments in Spain have been trying to crackdown on illegal abortions and going a bit overboard in the process, raiding clinics seemingly at random, closing down refusing to protect workers and patients from anti-abortion protesters—that sort of thing. It sounds like a bad scene, but in retaliation the workers have decided to shut down all the country's private abortion clinics for a five-day strike. As in they aren't performing any non-emergency abortions for the rest of the week. Take that, anti-abortionists!
