Jax Jones Made Us a Mix to Soundtrack a Day at a Theme Park

Blase Boys Club's new star steps up for an exclusive THUMP mix.

Earlier this year self-schooled, multi-talented south Londoner Jax Jones shot to the top of the UK charts with his Duke Dumont collaboration "I Got U". Since then, the producer and songwriter has dropped solo bombs like the tropical, breezy sway of "Go Deep" and given everyone from Paloma Faith to London Grammar a bouncy, house-y refix. Now signed to Dumont's own Blase Boys Club, he's planning a 2015 with "more releases, more gigs, more remixes, more collaborations, and more number ones."

He's also been honing his skills behind the decks, proving himself to be a selector more than capable of juggling old classics with contemporary cuts to great effect. As a send off to what Jones tells us was a "life changing" 2014, he has delivered a mix for THUMP that he describes as the perfect accompaniment to a day at a theme park. Here's 40 minutes of sugary house sure to get you in the mood to swap Blackpool Pleasure Beach for your favourite Friday night basement throwdown. He's even been kind enough to provide us with a tracklist.
