South African Bacardi house trailblazers DJs Spoko and Mujava surprise announced an EP today. I.M.I (short for Intelligent Mental Institution) is out today via True Panther Sounds and this is their first joint EP. Labels such as Lit City Trax and Spoko's own Ghetto Boyz imprint have released his music over the last few years. Mujava, however, has rarely been seen since "Township Funk," his 2008 track that helped define Bacardi house, a blend of fruity loops upright bass, funky synths with UK funky drums.

The DJs from South Africa's Gauteng Province revel in Muajva's first release in a long time with "Sgubhu Dance," an adrenalized cut from the EP. Paired potently with piercing snare syncopation, the song's melody is a raw, very-distant relative from the main riff from "Kernkraft 400," and you can easily imagine it chanted in a soccer arena.
