Chris Christie's Brother Went on Facebook to Defend the Family Name

Chris Christie's brother went on facebook to defend the Governor's appearance in the Dallas Cowboys owner's box. It's exactly what you would expect.

From a lovely place called Ironia, New Jersey, Todd Christie, Governor Chris Christie's brother, weighed in on the Governor's euphoric appearance in the Dallas Cowboys owner's box last night. You see, people were upset that the Governor of New Jersey, a state home to fans of two bitter rivals to the Cowboys, was seen gleefully hugging Jerry Jones and family after the Cowboys (controversial?) win over the Detroit Lions. In a reasonable world, this would be the part where we point out that sports fans are generally insane, while public servants and their hangers on are generally smart and rational adults. This not being a reasonable world, we are going to talk about the governor of New Jersey's brother telling constituents how they have "their panties in a ringer."

Tremendous.

The sticking point appears to be the many shots taken about Chris Christie's girth, which, to be fair, is vast. These potshots apparently led his brother to stick up for him in the way your 13-year-old brother might stick up for you. "GET A LIFE," "your team stinks," and "he's been a fan forever" are all things you definitely heard on a playground. And while a large person's belt may be challenged by calories, that person would not be "calorically challenged," he would in fact be the opposite of calorically challenged. Kind of like how a mentally challenged person is, well, you know.
