Drinking Tea And Enjoying The Sunshine With Charlie Brophy And Nick Mulhall (An Introduction To Queen Magic)

THUMP Premiere Of Queen Magic's first single "I Don't Know" and Photo Series by Charlie Brophy

Making the difficult look effortless is an art. So too, revealing the profound in the everyday. You get the feeling it's the way of life for Nick Mulhall and Charlie Brophy. Charlie could not be more in demand for her prodigious photography skills, and Nick is known for his multi-instrumental involvement in many bands, including Broadway Sounds and SMILE. Recently Nick borrowed a synth from his housemate to learn more about them, played some chords, and quickly crafted the beautifully hazy, laidback jam "I Don't Know".  It's an impressive introduction to his new Queen Magic project, and THUMP is pleased to have the first listen.

Charlie and Nick recently met "by chance through a mutual friend", as Nick explains, and "immediately hit it off." To accompany the single release, they worked on a photo series to capture a sense of the song. "We share the same love of music, colours and imagery and wanted to combine them. The series was pretty natural, we just spent the day wondering around drinking tea and enjoying the sunshine."
