Listen To A Brand New Mix From Techno Legend Robert Hood

Tell um what time it is Bob.

Warehouse raves are ace. The brutally beautiful post-industrial setting, the air of lawless underground adventuring, the gigantic acoustics, it's how all big room clubbing should be. Granted there's usually one toilet to every 400 people and the toxic paint fumes are an unwelcome supplement to your detergent-cut MDMA high, but thems the breaks.

Of course it's always an added bonus when organisers remember to instal a shit-hot DJ on the decks. The Hydra are especially good at this. Juan Atkins, Matthew Dear, Legowelt, Carl bloody Craig, the London warehouse specialists have a ridiculous line-up planned for their ongoing summer series, hosted at their new home in Studio Spaces. It's a bit like a warehouse crossed with a swank minimalist bachelor pad from some utopian future, where people have sex with machines. The toilets'll probably look a bit like the Starship Enterprise. Only with more cocaine.

However, for their next trick the event organisers have really outdone themselves, as making his Hydra debut this Sunday will be none other than Underground Resistance founder, techno rebel and all round bad lad, Robert Hood. The guy'll blow your tits off any day of the week, whether he's spinning UR's 2-wave Detroit techno or the molasses-black tech-house of his latest project, Floorplan. Hood's Hydra spot comes as the Detroiter celebrates 20 years of his M Plant imprint, while DJs form techno consortium, Blueprint, will on hand to provide some very gristly support .

Indeed, let Bob relieve you off said tits right now with a never before released mix he recorded in May at Soenda Festival. Naturally it's completely bangin'.
