GARAGE Magazine is hosting an online auction, cleverly titled, GARAGE Sale, which will feature treasures, knick knacks, and artworks donated by thirteen of the art world's most recognizable names. Jeff Koons has donated an inflatable dophin, James Franco made a mixed-media artwork, and Assume Vivid Astro Focus gave a pair of vintage Mexican boots. The magazine has chosen to forgo an actual garage in favor of eBay, since the online marketplace is a popular venue for artists to sell their work. All proceeds will go to either the California Institute of the Arts or the GARAGE Museum of Contemporary Art Education Center in Moscow, which hosts workshops and courses helping kids express their creativity.
