Michel Gondry's music videos have always been iconic within their medium, but his focus on bands has been on the back burner since Bjork's "Crystalline" video in 2011. The ever-innovative director is back, however, with a new video for the Metronomy song, "Love Letters."Gondry is always blowing our minds in his music video work, from The White Stripes' "Fell In Love With A Girl" to Daft Punk's "Around The World," the director's sui generis use of stop-motion and other creative stylizations has always blown our minds. "Love Letters" is no exception, as the clip includes a smooth, one-shot reel of the band surrounded by painted set pieces with cut-outs that frame the group in various settings (such as in a computer screen and in a lab examined by scientists).
