Guy Almost Jumps Jeep over Pool

You've got a truck, an above ground pool, and a 12 pack of Bud Light Platinums, and you're struggling to somehow combine them all.

Ask any auto enthusiast from a rural area for a tale about an indestructible old Jeep, and you'll hear ten. My own favorite was the time I saw a guy at Pismo Beach dig a hole about ten feet round and ten feet deep with a tractor, then drive his XJ into it. After towing it out and shoving the homemade square tubing driveshafts back together, he drove away. Mix a few decades of the off-road aftermarket with hillbilly engineering, and you've got a recipe for old beaters that can drive over, or through, just about anything.

Notice that I didn't say they could fly. I mean, we've all been there: You've got a truck, an above ground pool, and a 12 pack of Bud Light Platinums, and you're struggling to somehow combine them all. And then the epiphany hits: why not build a ramp that crumbles at the lightest touch? The best part of this whole video, if you're wondering, is the guy who immediately runs for the cut-off machine. Summer rules.
