Todd Gurley Hurdles Over Sleeping Bears Defense

Probably want to put somebody on Todd Gurley.

It's probably not a good idea to let Todd Gurley roam free with tens of yards of open space around him. There are, after all, only 100 yards on a football field. But everyone on the Chicago Bears defense bit so hard on a play action to Gurley that he was left wide open in the middle of the field. Then, to add salt to the wound, Gurley leapt over the first defender who actually had a chance to tackle him, some 25 yards from the line of scrimmage.

The play went for 31 yards and put the Rams at the Chicago 20-yard line. After that it was a steady dose of Gurley with rushes of eight and six yards that set up a second-and-goal from the six. Gurley got the call again and scored to give the Rams an early 7-0 lead.
