Indeed he does. After all, Westbrook now has OKC's front office and bench bending to his will.

Rapper Lil Uzi Vert came out with a pretty delirious, looping little track for his new project 'The Perfect Luv Tape,' and Russell Westbrook is absolutely feeling it. Probably because Lil Uzi is juggling around a lyrical mantra that works for Westbrook these days: "Now I do what I want."

By all accounts, Westbrook has had a bumpy summer—opting out of the Olympics to presumably get his life together, then later watching his teammate Kevin Durant betray him on an epic scale. Hell, Durant practically pulled an Othello on him, Iago-ing his way over to OKC's fierce rivals, the Golden State Warriors, leaving Westbrook with the franchise all… to himself. Wait a second.

While Durant's out in Rio, carrying USA on his back through a close couple of shaves against the likes of Australia, Serbia and France (yikes), Westbrook has all of OKC's front office and bench bending to his will, and is enjoying vacation. He's shirtless, strapped into the passenger seat of a car barreling down the highway, blasting Lil Uzi and beaming at a camera. "Now I do what I want." Why not?
