Madonna Steals M.I.A.'s Producer, Katy Perry's Major Lazer Boyfriend

Now we know that the pop queen's forthcoming album won't suck.

It looks like we can add Diplo to the list of blond superstar DJ heartthrobs who Madonna has enlisted to produce tracks for her forthcoming album. Last night, the queen of pop posted two photos on Instagram announcing the collaboration: the first was a shot of Madonna's forearms, one of which was emblazoned with a Sharpie'ed version of Diplo's dinosaur tattoo, with the caption "Working with @Diplo got me like…………….WHAAaaat?" The second photo, a selfie, playfully referred to Diplo as a "slave driver." The Mad Decent honcho responded with a picture of his hands decked out in Madonna's lace gloves and the caption "Working wit @madonna got me like this."

So far, this is the second Madonna/celebrity DJ alliance the pop star has revealed since she confirmed that she's cooking up a new album back in February—in March, she Instagrammed a selfie she took with Swedish hotshot Avicii in the studio. Because you care about things like how attractive people mate, we should tell you that Diplo is rumored to be in a relationship with Katy Perry.

When he's not busy with Major Lazer or his Skirllex collbo Jack U, Diplo has produced tracks for singers like Robyn, Santigold, and Marina & the Diamonds, as well as high-profile R&B vocalists like Usher and Drake, and of course M.I.A., with whom he burst onto the global scene in 2005. Madonna is the biggest notch on his belt to date.

Meanwhile, M.I.A.'s last album was her first without any Diplo contributions, perhaps only concidentally after she appeared with Madonna at the Super Bowl in 2012 and got into some expensive legal trouble with the NFL over a rogue middle finger, a situation that is still a big mess.

Hopefully, the results of Dip and Madge in the studio will be equally huge.
