Digital Soundgirl and Canadian sweetheart Brianna Price has a lot going for her right now. The newly lavender-haired Canadian currently resides in the UK, hosting her own show on BBC Radio 1 and filling in for Annie Mac during her maternity leave. On the strength of her radio fame and DJ/producer prowess, she travels the world headlining stops on the festival circuit, often on her own and occasionally with Shy FX and the rest of the Digital Soundboy record label crew.
She has also never had a bad day looks-wise. Her hair, make up and wardobe choices are never not on point, and she always has a fresh pair of kicks on. After seeing the unstoppable stream of sweet new shoes populating her Instagram account, I started wondering what her collection looked like. I asked B. to send over some choice cuts from her closet, because, really, who doesn't love shoes and purple-haired DJs?
"I call these 'spicy flats.' I don't really wear a lot of heels, so when I need to dress up, this is what is on my feet."
"These are ten times more comfortable than any pair of Docs I've ever owned! They have a sick fluorescent zip in the back so you can ditch the laces. You can also remove the grey flaps on the front for the simple boot look."
LATEST JORDANS PURCHASE
"My latest pair of Jordans. This time of year you can't go wrong with Jordans and a pair of cut-offs. I got them specifically for the shiny hologram logo."
LATEST NIKE ID PURCHASE
"These are my latest Nike ID creation. I wanted to take elements from some of my past favorite Air Max designs and combine them to create a new shoe. To be fair, photos don't really do these justice, as in every pic they almost look like an orange or red but really they are an electric or fluorescent coral."
A.P.C. x NIKE AIR MAX
"These are one of my favorite pairs right now—A.P.C x Nike Air Max. They are so simple and minimal and I know I can wear them with almost anything, but I'm a little scared to wear them as they are so freakin' white. I know the second I wear them out the house some dickhead is going to step on them."
