Pet Shop Boys Take on the US Prison System In “Twenty-something” Video

Watch the grim clip for the newest single from the UK synth-pop legends.

There are no shots of the Pet Shop Boys' Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe cheerfully dancing and lip-syncing in the new video for "Twenty-something," the latest single off the UK synth-pop legends' thirteenth studio album Super.

Instead, the Gavin Filipiak-directed clip follows a San Diego gang member as he's released from prison and attempts to go straight. After failing to find work to support his family, he returns to the street life, and by the end of the video is back where he started.

Watch it above, the duo have also announced a North American tour this fall.
