Iceland tied Portugal 1-1 in the Euro Cup. It was Iceland's first ever appearance at a major tournament, and given the lack of experience and the fact that Iceland is a tiny country, it was a momentous result. Cristiano Ronaldo accused Iceland of having a "small mentality" after the match, and he left the field without shaking hands with anybody.

"What does he expect? For us to play like Barcelona against him?" Iceland's Kari Arnason wondered after the match. "He fannies about and dives around."

Here is a touching video of the fans yesterday singing as Iceland warmed up before the match.
