Jordan Henderson Uncorks Perfection From Long Range

Jordan Henderson hit an absolute rocket of a goal from 25 yards out.

Jordan Henderson put Liverpool up 2-0 against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge today and it was, as NBCSN's Arlo White called it, a sensational strike. It came out of nowhere—you can hear just how much it caught White off guard in the clip. Henderson got the ball about 25 yards from the goal after Gary Cahill failed to clear a busted set piece. Henderson launched it from that distance and sent it screaming into the net.

For a time it looked like it might clear the goal post, but at the last moment it dipped right behind Thibaut Courtois's hand and into the top corner of the net. Courtois's got nothing to feel bad about, it's hard to imagine a ball being struck truer and sweeter than that one. As always, do yourself a favor and stick around until the end of the video for Jurgen Klopp's reaction. It is characteristically epileptic.

Marko Grujic's reaction is also pretty great.
