Vic Mensa Opens Up About Discrimination

Tune into VICELAND Tuesday for the rapper's session on 'THE THERAPIST,' along with a new episode of 'LAST CHANCE HIGH.'

On an all-new episode of VICELAND's THE THERAPIST, Vic Mensa sits down with Dr. Siri Sat Nam Singh to revisit one of his earliest brushes with discrimination: hearing from an early crush that she wouldn't date him because of his skin color. The experience stuck with the rapper, feeding into long-term anxiety about growing up bi-ethnic in America.

THE THERAPIST airs Tuesdays at 10:30 PM.

VICELAND is also airing a new episode of LAST CHANCE HIGH, our Peabody Award–winning documentary series chronicling a Chicago school that serves some of the city's most at-risk students. Even after the school gets shuttered, former mentors are determined to work with their old students, including a teen caught up in a gang dispute so bitter he's forced to flee the city.

LAST CHANCE HIGH airs Tuesdays at 10 PM.
