Praise B! Cardi B has taken to Instagram to announce that her debut album Invasion of Privacy will be released on April 6, aka next week (!!!!)
This won't be Cardi's first full-length project––she released Gangsta Bitch Music mixtapes in 2016 and 2017––but it'll be her major-label debut, and her first release since "Bodak Yellow" topped the charts last year.
Cardi's had a string of successes in the past year: "Bodak Yellow" went to number one, becoming the first single by a female rapper to top the Billboard Hot 100 since 1998, and she notched up three more top tens––"Motorsport" with Migos and Nicki Minaj, "Finesse" with Bruno Mars, and "No Limit" with G-Eazy––making her the first female artist to occupy three top ten positions on the Hot 100 for three weeks.
There's no word on a tracklist for Invasion of Privacy yet, but the album artwork is incredible:
