For the uninitiated, the term 'smoko' – which is the name of their song – is Australian social vernacular for ditching the toil of hard labour to head outside and take a sweet hit of the nicotine. As the Rap Genius annotations for the track states: “This song describes the reaction of a hard working Australian towards a person who interrupts there ‘smoko’ or their break” – which in this case is rage.
