Remember last week when we were threatening that if you didn't go uptown to see living legend/author Barry Gifford read from his new book at Barnes & Noble, you'd be missing the opportunity of a lifetime? Well, we sort of told a little fib because he'll be doing one last New York City reading of The Imagination of the Heart (the finale of the Sailor and Lula series) at the Bushwick Starr. It begins at 7:30 and will be followed by one of those Q&A dealies. After that there'll be a screening of the movie version of the book that started it all, David Lynch's Wild at Heart. It's probably the best value you can get for $5 in these trying times and what kind of knucklehead doesn't love Wild at Heart?
FYI.
