A few months after the Libyan people rid their country of Muammar Gadaffi, VICE correspondent Sherif Elhelwa noticed the black flag of al-Qaeda flying atop the Benghazi courthouse. He managed to snap off a few photographs before an armed guard approached him and took hold of his camera. He said, "Whomever speaks ill of this flag, we will cut off his tongue."
