“Victoria M” is the newest track off Kirin J Callinan’s debut album Embracism. It's also a pop-song that's totally danceable. This will come as a surprise to fans of his eariler, more stomach-wrenching work, but if you think about it, dancing is super awkward so it all kind of makes sense.
He'll be touring Embracism later this month with other local favourites including Standish/Carlyon, Jonny Telafone, and Usurpers of Modern Medicine. But if you just can't wait, you can pre-order Embracism here.
You can catch him live at:
Yours & Owls in Wollongong on the 26th of June
Terrace Bar in Newcastle on the 27th of June
The Standard in Sydney on the 28th of June
The Zoo in Brisbane on the 29th of June
Northcote Social Club in Melbourne on the 4th of July
Jive in Adelaide on the 5th of July
