Premiere: Cellphone Serves Up Visual Gumbo With the Video for "Human Rights"

It's the sort of video you could expect from a band known for being unexpected.

Cellphone describe their sound as laying "somewhere in the infinite void between synthpunk’s glissando and thrash metal’s knee-less jeans" and their newest video for "Human Rights" serves up a visual gumbo of everything that they find to be aesthetically pleasing. There's supercuts of sand dune racing, speedboat fishing with bows and arrows, and amateurish cartoon cut and paste animations. It's a video about nothing that features everything, and it's the sort of visual accompaniment that you can expect from a band who identifies their genre as what they're not, as opposed to what they are.
