Katy B: Danger EP

Katy hooks up with the likes of Jessie Ware and Diplo and new EP.

Ohhh, Katy B, during a time when lots of miserablist middle-aged guys with mod haircuts were lamenting the demise of UK music, whinging about indie bands and ignoring club tracks, Miss B was busy smashing the charts with Rinse FM's support.

But aside from Mosca collab "What You Came For", she's been pretty quiet post debut album. But "Danger" is not so much a segueway into any forthcoming LP, more just something to tide us over and give us a peek into who she's been knocking heads with. Fellow south London songbird Jessie Ware makes an apearance on the sweet but not sickly "Aaliyah", as well as Diplo, Wiley, Iggy Azalea (weird, right?) and now trusted Katy B collaborator Zinc on "Got Paid". It's bop-in-your-chair-while-making-gun-fingers great and unmistakably British.
