Premiere: Tripsixx and Key! Join Forces and Get "Insidious"

Listen to the downtown Toronto rapper trade bars with the Atlanta everyman on this newest offering.

It says a lot about the depth of Toronto's talent pool when you can have a conversation about how great the city's rap scene is without mentioning Drake. April continues to surprise and shock music fans who have an eye on the city with this offering from Tripsixx titled "Insidious." We could make a bunch of puns about the rappers involved in this song having the "Key" to "The 6," but we like to think we're better than that. So instead, here's what Tripsixx had to say about his latest:

"Key! and I have been cool for a while, and when he was in Toronto last November I showed him my music and we ended up making this track. I used to listen to him back when I was trapping, before I even started focusing mainly on making music, so it's really a blessing for me to get to work with someone whose music I fuck with so much. His songs were literally my trap anthems back when I was doing that shit way back when."

The song was produced by Trappy Blocka and Sha Hustle and will be included on his upcoming tape We Own The Night.
