You may know Kurt Feldman, the drummer from Pains Of Being Pure At Heart, but you're about to start hearing a lot more about him and his new wave project Ice Choir. This summer, when the band dropped their debut record Afar on Underwater Peoples, our ears were on "I Want You Now and Always" like white on rice. We liked it because it seemed to solve that nagging issue of what song should've been playing through John Cusack's boombox in Say Anything.Well, Ice Choir just sent us a new remix of the track, done by Jorge Elbrecht of Violens fame. The remix grabs Feldman's vocal track and plops it down on some buzzy, technicolor electro, with a blippy minimal techno drum track and gigantic laser-fried synths. OK, enough adjectives, check this thing out:You can snag a copy of Afar right here.
