Listen to a Parrot Kill Some Grindcore Vocals in Hatebeak's "Pecking Crew"

Also featuring humans from Pig Destroyer and The Index.

99% of the time, all humans belong in the sewer. What humans do is pretty awful and meaningless, and us as a species of soft, pink bellied flesh things are headed for a quick extinction. With this in mind, we gotta think to ourselves who is going to take our place in all the metal bands of the world once we take our leave of this planet. When it's only animals on the earth, they're going to want to copy our one real contribution to the ecosystem and the world; metal. Which is why Waldo, the 21-year old African Grey parrot and singer of grindcore band Hatebeak will be the greatest metal vocalist of all time.

Hatebeak is a screechy, cutty grindcore band comprised of Waldo the parrot, Blake Harrison from Pig Destroyer and Mark Sloan of The Index. Their new song "Pecking Crew" is exactly what you would want out of a grindy band with a goddamn animal in it. Hatebeak's guitar skills and technicality rip and soar through the track, intermixing the screech of the guitars with Waldo's squawks, making a wall of noise and power. The song feels like being warped through a television and into the post-human future when all animals will pick up instruments and play what humans can barely comprehend.
