With the amps turned all the way up and the bass at a constant floor-rattling rumble, you can close your eyes, nod your head, and just let your mind drift off into their infinite abyss of loudness. The Brooklyn band combine the intense drone pop of Torche with the spaced out sound of a Jupiter-era Cave In. Verses Narrow seem to have gotten even tighter with the addition of drummer Matt Krupanski (formerly of Boy Sets Fire) and now, on their new EP, Loom, they’d like to show off just how tight that is.
