Here's That Video of Father John Misty Singing "I Believe I Can Fly" You Didn't Know You Needed

Brought to you by the people who thought putting a music festival on a cruiseliner was a good idea.

The S.S. Coachella shoved-off last month, and although the lineup boasted some of the buzziest artists of—well—2009, the whole thing went off miraculously/appropriately under-blogged. While we'd like to keep it that way, this video of Joshua Tillman (aka Father John Misty) setting hearts aflutter with his karaoke rendition of R. Kelly's "I Believe I Can Fly" is just too perfect not to post. The sickeningly grandiose ballroom, Ron Jeremy doppelgänger Har Mar Superstar butchering backing vocals like a hirsute Ted Bundy, the heartfelt serenading of an unwitting/unwilling audience participant—everything about this is so wonderfully gross that it actually loops all the way around and becomes incredible. And then it becomes gross again.
