My enduring love for Das Racist is their ability to straddle the fine line between having an enduring sense of humor and ability to self deprecate, without their music turning into some shitty parody act. Case and point; Blood Diamonds-produced track, "Girl", taken from their 2011 LP Relax, was an unusually bubble-gum pop, upbeat cut from Das Racist and it's now got an equally cray, out-of-character new video. But somehow, it all just WORKS.The video follows a definitely endearing and not creepy guy in a mullet, stalking the object of his affection, in between busting out some pretty spectacular Footloose style dance routines and, erm, fighting a biker or something…yeah, I dunno.
