Symphony Hall: The One-Time Collab Between Canblaster + Riton

Featuring two tracks and a killer mixtape from the fleeting duo.

If this is what Paris sounds like right now, I'm moving.

Sort of like when VOLTRON assembles, but a bit more Parisian, dancefloor demigods Canblaster and Riton teamed to form Symphony Hall, and just released two tracks off their single shot One Night Stand EP on Surkin, Para One, and Bobmo's Marble Records.

The title track, "One Night Stand," is an R&B slow burner (save this one for "after the afterparty"), featuring curated Ur-shur-esque vocal samplings from UK up-and-comer Jay Norton.

"Metal Arrives," on the other hand, is superbly funky, nuanced French breakbeat—an homage to 90's UK rave days, when MDMA was still cool and literally everyone (including the handful of women present) shaved their heads and invented "the underground."

Finally, the stellar 45-minute promo mix from Symphony Hall, featuring everything from unreleased space trap to Jeremih remixes, all the way to gospel house and back. Snag the EP here and cross your fingers this isn't really just a one-time thing.
