Unfortunately, his pet was confiscated from him several years ago by German customs after trying to bring it on tour without the correct credentials. But Bieber is young rich and famous and in a recent interview when asked about losing his pet monkey responded, “Yeah, one day. Just gotta make sure I got a house and it stays in the fucking house. I’m not gonna bring him to Germany or travel with it anymore. People are always like, “Why did you get a monkey?” If you could get a monkey, well, you would get a fucking monkey, too! Monkeys are awesome.”After hearing Bieber's statement, the North American Primate Sanctuary Alliance are, understandably, strongly urging for Biebs to reconsider his stance. Stating that a monkey will “will prove dangerous to both you and your monkey” and “It is simply not possible to fulfill the unique needs of your monkey within a private home.” And while we certainly agree that owning a monkey would be awesome it’s probably best left in the wild with Mighty Joe Young and that ape from Disney’s Tarzan.
