Whip smart producer KAYTRANADA's debut album 99.9% is just a month away, and this afternoon he dropped off a video for one of the album's breeziest, the Anderson .Paak assisted "GLOWED UP." .Paak is well known as a singer, but his bars are an underrated asset, and here he gives a mean case for consideration as a formidable rap lyricist. Kay, meanwhile, finds a sweet spot between bass-heavy R&B and trap underfoot.The video's a riot: Kay wakes up in bed and strolls over to the fridge, where he keeps pulling strange things… and people out of the fridge. Before you know it, the house is full of partiers, barbers, sandwiches, foliage, snakes, everything. By the time he makes it back to bed, the room is a forest with a babbling brook.
