Layton Giordani Brings Your Weekend Heat With "Never Forgotten"

Let Giordani kickstart your weekend with some fiery techno.

The thumping style of Layton Giordani has seeped its way into the sets of some of the genre's most prominent figures. From Sam Paganini's radio-show to Deadmau5's live sets, to seasoned veterans like Carl Cox and Jon Rundell picking up his influence for their imprint.

For Layton's debut on Intec records, he presents a two-track EP titled, Never Forgotten. Both releases are immensely powerful, showing Layton's prowess in the studio. The title track has vocals and layered claps to give it a strong tribal texture, while the kick furnishes it with that strong chugging feel. The EP delves into Layton's grittier sound, but to get a full sense of his versatility behind the decks you'll have to see the artist doing it live.

The emerging producer is continuing his rise to the top of the new underground generation. With his recent feature on our NORTHMIX series, and live set alongside Harvey McKay at CODA Toronto, Layton is spreading his earthy-toned techno to bigger crowds. With nods from Cox and Rundell, what better evidence do you need that he is here to stay?

Grab the 'Never Forgotten' EP, out on Intec March 9.
