In collaboration with EE, we sent photographer Stephen Roe a Huawei P9 and told him to get busy in the North, below is what he came back to us with…If high-end cuisine is your thing, the North's got a lot going for it these days. As a native of the North, I'm all for it, but when EE sent me a nice phone with a great camera and told me to shoot something that meant something to me, I decided I wanted to capture what I treasured most about Blackpool growing up: the unbridled fun of it all.

I have very fond memories of visiting Blackpool as a child; typical seaside fare for sure, but the classics are classics for a reason. Fish and chip shops on almost every corner - chips and gravy please, yep - You can dip into the oyster bar on the central pier for your fix of cockles and muscles if that's your thing, if not you can always give yourself whiplash on the waltzer next door. Let's not forget good ol' Blackpool rock, perfect for pulling out your fillings. This is the North and goddamnit, we're here to have fun.More power to you, Blackpool!
