Using a homemade graphics processing algorithm, architect Aaron Willette is giving new meaning to the above Goethe quote by generating music from shapes inside of a 3D modeling program. The result isn’t just a series of random oscillating tones, however — By manipulating the curves and vectors of his 3D models, Aaron is generating sequenced music data for the Nintendo Entertainment System in an experiment that explores new relationships between space and sound…
