A study led by the Kangbuk Samsung hospital in South Korea found that three to five cups of coffee a day reduce the risk of heart-attack causing clogged arteries, says the Guardian. The research team, which was made up of scientists from all around the globe, found that those who drank moderate amounts of coffee faced the least risk of coronary calcium in the arteries. Clearer arteries means fewer heart attacks. That said, the British Heart Foundation's Victoria Taylor warned the Guardian that more research should be done before drawing a concrete line between coffee and a lower risk of heart attack.1.
